I talk to A LOT of people about their fitness goals.
Most people, especially women, want to work on their GUT and BUTT.
Everyone wants a thin waist, or flat stomach, maybe even a six pack. But what people don’t understand is abs come from your diet.
I’m not trying to destroy your hopes and dreams of having the most wonderful, chizzled stomach in the entire world, but I want you to understand, you cannot out-exercise a bad diet.
For men and women, the stomach area is the first place we store fat. It’s important that we understand that when we consume fat, it’s going to sit on our stomach.
Professionals have proven over and over that 80% of your fitness progress comes from NUTRITION… what you EAT.
If you’re going to the gym 5 days a week for 7 hours every day (I don’t recommend), but driving thru McDonald’s on your way home, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO SEE PROGRESS.
Only 20% of your fitness progress is going to come from exercise. I know, sounds crazy. But it’s TRUE. It’s the FACTS.
So next time you’re wanting to eat that KitKat Bar or grab a Burger, PLEASE stop and think about why you started exercising in the first place. Think about that flat tummy.
Ditch the family pack, find your six pack!!
